Fall Photo Sessions
Fall Tradition In mid October of 2016, my husband and I decided to take our daughters (then 2 months and 22 months old) to Kingsmere in Chelsea Quebec (not too far from Ottawa). It's a small community with a lot of breathtaking scenery and history. Not to mention, rich in beauty. We packed up the car with the girls, grabbed my camera and decided to take a drive up there to take some pictures. We had heard so many wonderful things about Kingsmere that we had to go check it out for ourselves and enjoy one of our first outings as a family of four. We were not disappointed! Let me just add that Fall is my absolute favourite time of the year due to its gorgeous array of colour and texture. The changing colour of the leaves and grass, the beautiful look of bark and water, and the list can go on and on. We parked and took a stroll around the grounds. It wasn't soon after getting out of the car that I was inspired to start taking pictures. Everything around me was breathtaking and I couldn't help myself. I took so many pictures of my eldest daughter Everleigh just rooming the grounds out on her own adventure. She was in a wonderland of fields and space to run. All of this; until my battery decided to run out 15 minutes into our walk. However, I was able to capture some beautiful shots and even more beautiful memories. I captured all these moments that I've looked back on this morning. I told my husband that I would like us to continue this tradition. During the middle of October when the colours of Fall really shine through, we would take the girls up to Kingsmere and take some beautiful pictures of them. This time, I will make sure, that my battery is fully charged before going. So go ahead, take a risk, and you could get the shot you've been searching for.
