Walking in a winter wonderland
Sometimes it’s really hard to find something to buy for someone- sometimes they just have it all, sometimes the person is always busy. Photography is a great gift. Especially to new parents!
This year I have had the pleasure of photographing so many beautiful memories for people and I have also grown along the way.
Recently I have purchased some large flokati rugs for doing simple setups on.
They work beautifully for one you have a fussy baby- 95 percent of them love being wrapped and it will put them right to bed.
I’ve also done a really beautiful outdoor shoot! The weather was seriously -28 degrees but this didn’t stop this beautiful momma to be from getting herself all glammed up for her maternity shoot! She also chose my favourite gown- a red right fitting maternity gown with a long train.
It seriously makes the subject pop and most people don’t think of red because they don’t typically wear red in their day to day life- but photographs are different!
How lovely is she? She certainly didn’t let the cold get to her. This was shot with a 135 lens- manual focus!
I haven’t shot manual focus in a long time but I do have to say it was quite nice having full control- though I don’t think it’s practical for shooting toddlers ;)
Hope you all have a lovely Christmas!
