They Grow Up So Fast

July 17, 2018

Photography is really something that people should cherish more, in my opinion. When I was growing up, my family didn't take a lot of pictures. This was way back when digital cameras were either very new or we didn't have them. We had pictures of our birthdays and that's about it, I don't think we ever even had a family picture taken. Then, when I was ten, the images that we did have were ruined because of a flood in our basement. It's so important to have images of your kids when they are growing up because they grow up so fast. In the future you will look back on these moments and wrack your brains trying to remember what everyone looked like. Some people think that because their children are quite active that it is hard to get a picture, but our cameras work so fast! You would be surprised.

Prints are also an important thing to have. Consumer labs such as Walmart or Costco can print for cheap, but compared to professional labs, their prints won't last long and are subject to fading and degradation in the paper. It's important to invest in a photographer who knows what they are doing and who has good connections with a proper lab which has calibrated their printers to offer the correct colours.

This fall, I have decided to open up my family photography promotion early so my past clients get a good spot. Last year, we sold out of spots quite quickly and had people rushing at the end of the fall season to get their images done. I love taking fall pictures and I have some great spots to showcase the beautiful fall foliage with a focus on your family. I love capturing the emotional connection between people and hope that you will give me a chance to capture yours.

The fall promotion is $120 plus HST for 7 digital images and one 5x7 print. The price will increase to $150 after August first, so please book your spots accordingly.

I look forward to capturing your memories!
